Secretary All-India Congress Committee and Co-incharge Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Dutt while addressing a press conference in Rajiv Bhavan Shimla said that the BJP government in Centre and State has shattered all the pillars of Democracy .He said that the recent changing in the name of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Rattan is unfortunate and shows the political vindictiveness and shallowness of the Modi led BJP Government. He said that even ex Prime Minister Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee had himself lauded the efforts of Late Sh Rajiv Gandhi during his illnesses.
Sanjay Dutt said that the pegasus scam in the country has exposed the real and dictorial face of the BJP government .He said that the State led Jai Ram government is only focusing on the development of those constituencies which are going for Bye elections and some of these announcements are without any budgetary provision while in many cases fund diversion has been done. He said that the removal of Sh Anil Khachi from the post of Chief Secretary in itself dictates the agenda of RSS and the honest and State Cadre officers are being discriminated .He said that for the last 4 years the Government did not take any interest in the development of these areas but now election on head the government is on an announcement spree .He said that the Disaster Management in the State has failed totally in the state and still many roads are closed.He demanded a CB I inquiry into the death of Sri Ramswaroop Sharma MP from Mandi . Sanjay said that the state is reeling under the financial deficit of more than 65,000 Crore and the government is appointing Chairman and Vice Chairman thereby putting the state to a financial loss.He questioned the state COVID management and highlighted the recent increase in COVID cases especially in educational institutes.
