Annual prize distribution ceremony of Euro Kids School organized
Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment and Labor and Employment, Colonel Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil said that play schools are doing a better job in fully preparing children for future education. Dr. Shandil was presiding over the annual prize distribution ceremony of Euro Kids School, Solan here today. He started the program by lighting the lamp.
Dr. Shandil said that the most important thing from the point of view of education are teachers, who make the foundation of children strong. He said that only under the guidance of gurus, children are able to fly higher in life.
On this occasion, the Health Minister urged the parents of young students to cooperate in making these children responsible citizens of the future. He said that in present times drug addiction has emerged as a widespread problem. Parents of small children will not only have to set an example but will also have to always pay attention to the activities of the children. He said that only with unity will we be able to defeat drug addiction.
Dr. Shandil said that the role of play school teachers is very important. He said that these teachers provide practical knowledge to children at a very young age. At this stage, mutual coordination between parents and teachers is necessary.
The Health Minister gave information about Sukhashray Yojana to the parents and others present on this occasion. He said that about 2700 orphan children identified under this scheme, who are living with their relatives, will also be provided financial assistance of Rs 4000 per month till they complete 27 years of age. He said that the State Government is fully committed to the protection of these children and the scheme also has a provision for one nurse for every child requiring maternal care and one matron for every three growing children. . He urged everyone to make people aware about this scheme so that no eligible child is left out.
Headmistress of Euro Kids, Seema Bahl, welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report of the school.
On this occasion, a colorful cultural program was also presented by the young children of the school.
The chief guest announced Rs 11,000 from his discretionary fund for presenting cultural programs to the school children.
