Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to the flood-affected states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh today. This visit is being done after the recent heavy rains and the widespread devastation caused by them, in which hundreds of people died, property worth thousands of crores was destroyed and life came to a standstill in many areas.
PM Modi did an aerial survey of the disaster areas
The Prime Minister reached Pathankot Airbase by a special plane from Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. From Pathankot Airways, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did an aerial survey of the damage in Kullu, Mandi and Chamba by helicopter. After which he has reached Gaggal Airport in Kangra. Now, PM Modi will go to Dharamshala and will attend an important meeting related to the disaster here.
PM reached Kangra Airport
CM Sukhu, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla welcomed PM Modi on his arrival at Kangra Airport. Now from here PM Modi will go directly to Dharamshala and will participate in an important meeting held here on the disaster.
