She handed over this amount to the organization of Sarbjit Singh Bobby of Shimla. Sarbjit Singh Bobby expressed his gratitude to Preity Zinta for this support. He said, “My sister Preity Zinta has contributed ₹30 lakh (approximately $1.5 million) for the relief work in Mandi and Kullu. We thank her for this assistance from her team, the Punjab Kings.”
Sarbjit Bobby also stated that the disaster-affected villages in Kullu district still need the most help. He said, “We are already working diligently in the Saraj area of Mandi and will continue to do so. Now our main focus is on other affected areas of Kullu district, especially Banjar and Sainj, where people are still awaiting assistance.”
Over 69 villages in Kullu district have been severely affected by this natural disaster. Many villages have been completely razed to the ground, making it difficult to deliver aid.
