A joint team of Punjab Police and Drug Department raided a pharma company in Baddi. The team searched the records of the company and took some documents with them. This raid in the company has been done after the seizure of drugs under Kathunangal police station in Punjab.
According to the case, on Sunday, the police of Kathunangal police station of Punjab had recovered narcotics from the possession of two smugglers traveling in a car during the blockade near the bridge drain. When the police stopped the car for investigation. A person sitting on the back seat of the said car started running away carrying 3 bags with him, who was caught by the police at a distance of 200 meters.
When all three bags were examined, about 50 thousand drugs were recovered from them. On this the police arrested the accused Manga Singh resident of village Mahal and Parminder Singh resident of Chatiwind. Both the accused are around 24 years old. Finding that the drugs seized during the investigation belonged to the said company of Baddi, the team of Punjab Police and Drug Department reached Baddi and raided the company and seized the records. Now it has to be seen what comes out in the investigation.
