Hamirpur
In a recent administrative move, the Public Works Department Himachal Pradesh has assigned additional responsibilities to an Assistant Engineer in Hamirpur district.
As per the official notification issued by the department, Rajesh Kumar, currently serving as Assistant Engineer (Civil) in HPPWD Sub Division Bhoranj, has been directed to take charge of the vacant post of Executive Engineer (Civil) in HPPWD Division Bhoranj, District Hamirpur.
The order has been issued in the public interest, stating that Rajesh Kumar will handle the additional responsibility alongside his existing duties. Notably, he will not receive any extra remuneration for this additional charge. The arrangement will remain in effect until a regular Executive Engineer is appointed to the post.
The officer has been instructed to assume charge immediately and submit a compliance report to the department without delay.
The notification was issued with the approval of the Governor and signed by Surjeet Singh Rathore, Additional Secretary (PW) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
