Due to the activity of western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in five districts of Himachal Pradesh. According to Meteorological Center Shimla, there is forecast of rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas of Chamba, Kangra, Kinnaur, Lahail-Spiti and Kullu districts of the state on November 23. Whereas in the rest of the state, the weather is expected to remain dry during the next seven days.
In case of rain and snowfall, the minimum and maximum temperatures of the state are likely to drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius within the next three to four days. On the other hand, there was fog in Bhakra Dam area (Bilaspur) and Sundernagar on Friday. The department has issued a yellow alert of dense fog in the morning and evening hours in the reservoir areas of Bhakra Dam (Bilaspur), some parts of Balh Valley (Mandi) till November 25.
