During this time, people have been advised to remain in action mode to deal with any situation. People have been asked to come out of their homes only if there is very important work.
Due to the rain in Himachal Pradesh since Saturday night, the road is closed in many places. Due to heavy rains, landslides and falling poles in many districts have caused heavy damage to the roads, while at many places stones and debris have fallen on vehicles. In Shimla, the falling of poles at many places has posed a threat to the buildings. At present, the sequence of rain will continue in the state.
Orange alert in these four districts, including Shimla
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding heavy to very heavy rains at many places in Una, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur districts, including Shimla. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain at many places in Chamba and Kullu districts till the morning of June 30. At the same time, the sequence of rain will continue in the state until July 3.
On June 30, an orange alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain at some places in five districts: Una, Bilaspur, Kangra, Mandi, Solan, and Sirmaur. Similarly, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain at some places in Hamirpur and Shimla districts. Apart from this, on July 1, there is a yellow alert for heavy rain at some places in Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi districts.
At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places in the Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur districts in the state on July 2. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts. On July 3, there will be a yellow alert for heavy rain at some places in four districts of Una, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, and Shimla.
How much rain fell where?
According to the report from Saturday night to 8.30 am on Sunday in Himachal Pradesh, it has rained in most places in the state. At the same time, the sequence of rain is still continuing during the day as well. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, till 8.30 am on Sunday, Jogindernagar of Mandi district and Kasauli of Solan district have received the highest rainfall of 130 mm.
Similarly, Kahu 120 mm, Ponta 120, Sunderan Jungar and Bijahi 100, Shimla 90, Kufri 90, Bilaspur Sadar 90, Solan 90, Dharampur 80, Sujanpur Tihra 80, Pandoh 70, Nagrota Suriya 70, Chaupal 60, Gohar 60, Bharari 60, Kangra 50, Mandi 50, Jubbarhatti 40, Guler 40, Karsog 30, Sarahan 30, and Dehra Gopipur recorded 30 mm of rain.
