Organizing a meeting of the Forest Protection Act Committee under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner
A meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap to settle the pending cases related to the district under the Forest Conservation Act 1980.
In the meeting, about 115 pending cases of District Shimla under Forest Conservation Act were discussed section wise in detail.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the pending cases with the user agency under the Forest Conservation Act in the district should be resolved as soon as possible so that there is no delay in developmental works. He said that all the departmental officers need to work in coordination so that the pending cases can be resolved soon. He said that this is an important aspect from the development point of view that the sooner the FCA cases are approved, the faster the development works will be.
He said that the purpose of the meeting is not to complete formalities but to speed up development work. He also instructed the concerned officials to work in this direction so that pending cases under the Forest Conservation Act can be resolved soon.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Forest Department officers to organize a training camp related to the Forest Conservation Act in the first week of February so that the departmental officers can easily settle the matters.
