Rs 20 crore will be spent on making Dadla Mod-Navgaon-Malodi-Barry-Bilaspur road an industrial corridor.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health and Family Welfare and Information and Public Relations Department) Sanjay Awasthi said that the festival of Vijayadashami symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the gathering of people present at the Dussehra fair at Shalughat in Gram Panchayat Mangal of Arki assembly constituency of Solan district today.
On this occasion, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary wished everyone a happy Vijayadashami. He said that the festival of Vijayadashami is an indicator of our rich culture and ancient tradition. This festival signifies the victory of light over darkness. He said that today we all should take a resolution and play our positive role in the society by eradicating the evil from our inner mind. He expressed hope that this festival will bring happiness, prosperity and prosperity in all lives.
Sanjay Awasthi said that in this online era, the youth have information about the whole world but they are becoming cut off from their surroundings. In such times, fairs and festivals are not only preserving the ancient traditions but are also introducing the youth to their culture. The fair plays an important role in connecting the youth with their ancient traditions and rich culture.
He said that Himachal Pradesh had to face disaster some time ago due to which there was huge loss in various areas of the state. He said that during the time of disaster, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu worked day and night to provide relief to the people affected by the disaster. He thanked the Chief Minister for providing disaster relief in the affected districts.
He said that Rs 4.5 crore has been sanctioned for the Samtyadi bridge in Mangal area. An amount of Rs 36.30 crore has been approved for various developmental works in Mangal, Baga and Barrel areas. Out of this, an amount of Rs 7.80 crore has been made available to the concerned departments.
He said that Dadla Mod-Navgaon-Malodi-Bari-Bilaspur road will be made an industrial corridor. Its detailed project report is being prepared. Approximately Rs 20 crore will be spent on the construction of this corridor. He said that the work of construction of tunnel from Sehnali to Malokhar has been put on the priority of the MLA. An amount of Rs 08 crore will be spent on this work under NABARD. He said that Rs 18 crore will be spent on building the lift drinking water scheme for Barrel-Mangal.
To eliminate the problem of low voltage in Gram Panchayat Mangal, Barrel and Baga Karog, the power line will be connected to Chamakdi. He said that Mangal Dam area will be developed from tourism point of view and employment opportunities will be created here.
He announced to give Rs 21 thousand to the organizing committee and Rs 2100 to the children presenting cultural programmes.
Earlier, Sanjay Awasthi participated in the Purna Ahuti Yagya on the occasion of Vijayadashami after the Durga Puja of Navratri at Youth Farmers and Ramlila Club in village Syar of Gram Panchayat Dadlaghat.
Thereafter, he flagged off the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation bus to Arki-Dadlaghat-Kharsi-Kandhar-Baril. He said that bus facility will be started for Bilaspur-based All India Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine (AIIMS) via Kharsi-Barrel so that people can easily get better health facilities.
