Rugved Milind Thakur, 2011 batch, IAS officer hailing from Himachal Pradesh cadre, is being appointed as Deputy Secretary within the Cabinet Secretariat.
As outlined in an official notification from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Rugved Milind Thakur’s appointment falls under the Central Staffing Scheme, entailing a four-year tenure commencing from the date he assumes office, or until further instructions are issued, whichever occurs first.
Earlier Thakur was on the position of Director of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, concurrently serving as the Ex-officio Special Secretary (Panchayati Raj) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
Furthermore, it is noteworthy that Thakur has also served his services as a Managing Director of HP Power Transmission Corporation Limited.
