The Annual Day Celebration of Sacred Heart Convent was held with great zeal and splendour under the guidance of Principal Sister Grace Dava Mary at the Nuzo Auditorium. The occasion was graced by Sh. Anirudh Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Himachal Pradesh, as the Chief Guest.
The event began with a warm Welcome Speech, extending heartfelt greetings to all dignitaries, parents, and guests, followed by the Introduction of the Chief Guest, where his inspiring work and contributions to society were highlighted.
The ceremonial Panchdeep lighting marked the auspicious beginning of the celebration, symbolising the triumph of knowledge and virtue over ignorance.
A soulful Prayer Dance then invoked divine blessings, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The mood lifted with a melodious Welcome Song, expressing joy and gratitude to all present.
The Annual Report, presented confidently by the students, showcased the school’s accomplishments in academics, sports, cultural activities, and social outreach initiatives over the past year.
The audience was enthralled by the stirring stage presentation “Jhansi Ki Rani”, depicting the courage and patriotism of Rani Laxmibai. The performance left a lasting impression of pride and reverence.
This was followed by a vibrant “Azaadi Musical”, a rhythmic expression of India’s journey to freedom, blending music, movement, and emotion.
The celebration drew to a close with the School Anthem, filling the auditorium with a sense of pride and unity among students, staff, and guests alike.
The entire programme was conceptualized and choreographed by Mrs. Poonam Sharma, the dedicated Dance Teacher, whose creative vision and tireless efforts made the event a resounding success.
In his address, Chief Guest Sh. Anirudh Singh praised the performances and lauded the school’s efforts in nurturing discipline, creativity, and moral values among students.
