Sankalp 2026’: SILB reaches out to students to shape career choices

Initiative aims to reach schools across Solan and familiarise students with educational and career opportunities
Solan October 13
The Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan, has launched Sankalp 2026, a career counselling and awareness initiative to help school students identify their interests, assess their abilities and make informed decisions about their future.
As part of the initiative, five major schools in Solan have already been covered, with plans to extend the programme to other nearby schools in the next phase. The sessions aim to familiarise students with diverse educational pathways, emerging career options and opportunities available in Himachal Pradesh and beyond.
Sankalp 2026 seeks to bridge the gap between students’ aspirations and their understanding of career opportunities. By encouraging them to recognise their strengths and explore suitable academic and professional pathways, the initiative aims to support informed career planning at an early stage.
President Saroj Khosla said, Every student has unique interests, abilities and aspirations, and the right guidance can help them identify the career path best suited to their potential. Through ‘Sankalp 2026’, we aim to familiarise young minds with the educational and professional opportunities available to them and encourage them to make informed decisions about their future.
