Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh: The State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM), Dharamshala, has achieved a significant milestone in campus placements, with 30 students securing employment opportunities with Burger King at an average Cost to Company (CTC) of ₹25,000 per month. This achievement reflects the institute’s commitment to providing quality hospitality education, industry-oriented training and promising career opportunities to its students.
Of the selected students, 10 final-year students of B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc. H&HA) have been selected as Management Trainees, while 20 students pursuing Diploma programmes have been selected as Apprentices. The placements provide students with an excellent opportunity to gain practical industry experience, develop professional competencies and begin their careers with a leading name in the quick-service restaurant industry.
To celebrate this accomplishment, Sh. Vinay Dhiman, HAS, DTDO Kangra-cum-Principal, SIHM Dharamshala, felicitated the selected students and distributed their offer letters. He congratulated the students on their achievement and encouraged them to uphold professional standards, demonstrate dedication and make the most of the career opportunities offered by the hospitality industry.
