SJVN has been conferred with Rajbhasha Shield Third Prize by Ministry of Power for excellent implementation of Rajbhasha policy during year 2025-26. The prestigious award was presented by Hon’ble Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Sh. Manohar Lal to Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN, Sh. Bhupender Gupta during Hindi Advisory Committee meeting held in New Delhi today.
On this occasion Hon’ble Minister of State for Power, Sh. Shripad Yesso Naik, Rajya Sabha MP, Sh. Dinesh Sharma, Lok Sabha MP, Sh. Suresh Kumar Kashyap, Secretary (Power), GoI Sh. Pankaj Agarwal and senior officials of Ministry of Power and PSUs, institutions, corporations under administrative control of Ministry of Power were also present.
Sh. Bhupender Gupta informed that this award has been conferred upon SJVN as the company has been making exemplary efforts to promote and enhance the use of Rajbhasha in all its Projects and Units through various initiatives. The award is in recognition of continued efforts of SJVN employees in making Hindi an integral part of official functioning and work culture of the organization.
This Award has been instituted by Ministry of Power, Government of India, to recognize, encourage and reward the concerted efforts made by PSUs, institutions, corporations under its administrative control towards use and promotion of Hindi. The entries received by Ministry of Power are evaluated on basis of various aspects relating to the implementation of the Rajbhasha policy.
