Director Personnel of SJVN, Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma has said that we should make efforts to use Hindi as much as possible at the highest level in all the offices of the Government of India. He said that SJVN will promote the official language Hindi along with power generation. -Committed to spreading the city official languageSince its formation, 18 meetings have been organized so far by the Implementation Committee (Office-2), Shimla. Besides, the home magazine Him Samvad is being published continuously and all the offices of the Government of India are being encouraged to do more and more work in Hindi as Narakas Official Language Shield. He also informed that more than 300 employees have participated in the competitions organized on the occasion of Hindi Fortnight in SJVN during the year 2024.
He said this today as the chief guest of the annual official language award distribution ceremony and half-yearly meeting of the City Official Language Implementation Committee, Shimla.
In the program, Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma also presented Narakas Official Language Shield to the member offices in three different categories for the excellent performance of official language work. In this, the first shield was given to SJVN Limited in the Public Enterprises category, Life Insurance Corporation of India in the Financial Institutions category and UCO Bank in the Banks category. Similarly, the second shield was awarded to Food Corporation of India, Employees Provident Fund Organization and Punjab National Bank. The third shield was given to Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited, Union Bank of India. Apart from this, incentive awards were also given.
During the program, the third issue of the official language home magazine “Himsamvad” was also released by Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN. The objective of publishing the magazine is to promote the creativity and creative interest of the member offices as well as to promote the official language Hindi. The entire responsibility of publishing this magazine was performed by SJVN Limited.
Kumar Pal Sharma, Deputy Director (Implementation), Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, SJVN and officials of Central Government offices, undertakings, banks and financial institutions were also present in the program. Before this, the child artistes of ‘Sur Sadhna Sangeet Kala Kendra’ started the program by worshiping Saraswati.
It is noteworthy that NARACAS (Office-2), Shimla was formed in the year 2014 under the chairmanship of SJVN Limited and currently the number of its member offices is 46. It holds two meetings every year and this was the 19th meeting. This committee ensures the execution of the official language policy of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in the member institutions.
