Shoolini University commenced its three-day spiritual retreat with the inauguration ceremony led by Swami Krishnananda Giri. On the occasion, Swami Alokananda Giri and Brahmachari Haripriyananda were also present.
In his opening satsang, Swami Krishnananda Giri emphasized the importance of surrendering the ego to the almighty, practicing regular meditation, and practicing spiritual living even amid busy schedules. Swami Alokananda Giri contributed to the ceremony with devotional bhajans. Over 350 devotees attended the opening session.
Swami Alokananda Giri from the Yagoda Satsang Society, Ranchi, is leading the camp, which includes sessions on meditation, chanting, and spiritual discourses. These sessions aim to provide attendees with a profound spiritual experience.
During a media interaction, Swami Krishnananda Giri shared insights on spirituality, emphasizing simplicity, faith, and the path of “Adhyatma” (the highest self) as ways to connect with the divine. He discussed the appropriate age to start meditating, the scientific aspects of yoga, and the types of yoga that lead to ultimate bliss. The conference also featured ex-IAS officer and columnist Vivek Atray, who highlighted the importance of spiritual and intellectual discourse.
Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla expressed his joy in hosting the Yagoda Satsang Society’s monastic tour and assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort and success of all participants.
On the second day, participants will engage in spiritual discourse and meditation, while the third day will be dedicated to Kriya Yoga Diksha, Pushpanjali, Prasad distribution, and a Kriya Yoga review and check-up session.
