4th meeting of State level technical committee organised successfully today at shimla under the chairmanship of PCCF wildlife cum HoFF and facilitated by APCCF wildlife and State Nodal Officer.
The agencies presented their progress and were given directions as per PRF and mid term targets. SBB was asked to keep local resource persons at landscape to speed up the pending things under project for which they will submit an approval request to forest department.
Good work being done by NIFT kangra, they were asked to submit cluster proposal under SFURTI scheme by Director KVIC and also by the sltc members.
Ecotourism assignment going well.The community trainings indicators already achieved under these assignments and the income enhancement indicator is to be achieved.
Agencies asked to maintain record of income generation through guest entries in the newly registered homestays. Forest division lahaul and wildlife chamba presented their overall progress and the awp -2022-23 will be reviewed by technical committee in next 2 days and as per inputs will be shared.
METT validation workshop will be done tomorrow.
