The audiences were enthralled with the performances of the students during the theater events held on the second day of the 9 th Annual Inter College Youth Festival at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni. The teams from all the colleges competed in a one-act play, mime, skit and mono acting on the day 2 of the fest.
The youth festival which commenced on Tuesday is aimed at the overall development of students and is seeing the participants of around 350 students from the four constituent colleges of the University.
The results of events held on the first day were also announced today. In on-spot painting, Tania Jasrotia and Iram Quereshi of the College of Forestry bagged the first and second positions respectively. Akhilesh Sharma from COH&F Thunag stood first in Rangoli making while Isha Negi of the College of Forestry bagged the second position. In collage making, Muskan Thakur of the College of Forestry stood first while Diya Thakur of COH&F Thunag came second. In poster making, Sheetal of the College of Horticulture stood first while Ananya Benal from COH&F Thunag stood second. In elocution, Siya from the College of Horticulture bagged the first position Akanksha Koundal and Sirisha Chauhan from the College of Forestry bagged the second position.
In debate, Sumita and Mehak from the College of Horticulture bagged the first and second positions respectively. Akanksha Kaundal from COH&F Neri stood first in extempore while Shaifali Sharma stood second.
