A 26-year-old youth from the Chalog (Haraboi) area of Sundernagar subdivision in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district has been reported missing, triggering concern among locals. The missing youth has been identified as Mrigaank Thakur (nickname: Sweet), who has been untraceable since January 19, 2026, from near the Mahakali Jalpa Temple, Chalog (Haraboi).
According to the family, Mrigaank is around 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a dark grey sweater and black lower, and he was not wearing spectacles at the time.
The family has stated that Mrigaank has been suffering from depression, raising serious concerns over his safety. A missing complaint has been registered at the concerned police station and a search operation is currently underway.
The family has also announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone who provides confirmed information leading to his safe whereabouts.
