    Registration mandatory for private coaching centres in Kangra; institutes urged to apply soon

    Dharamshala, August 14: Registration has been made mandatory for eligible private coaching centres operating in Kangra district under the Himachal Pradesh Private Coaching Centres (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2026, Deputy Director of Higher Education (Secondary), Kangra, Ajay Singh Sambyal, said on Friday.

    Sambyal said the rules have been notified by the state government following directions of the Supreme Court. Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa is the chairman of the district-level Private Coaching Centres Committee.

    All private coaching institutes in the district where 50 or more students are enrolled have been asked to register under the prescribed procedure. Institutes that have not yet registered or submitted their applications have been advised to do so without delay.

    The Deputy Director said registration was a statutory requirement and not merely a procedural formality. The regulations aim to ensure a safe, transparent and quality learning environment for students.

    Under the rules, coaching centres are required to maintain adequate infrastructure, a safe and hygienic campus, comply with fire-safety norms and make necessary emergency and student-safety arrangements. Compliance will be reviewed periodically by the district-level committee.

    Institutes that fail to register or violate the provisions of the 2026 rules may face action as prescribed under the Himachal Pradesh Private Coaching Centres (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2026.

    Sambyal urged all eligible coaching centres to complete the registration process at the earliest. For details regarding the application process, prescribed format and other requirements, institutes can contact the district-level Nodal Officer (Higher Education).

    Shahpur, August 14: Rural connectivity in Himachal Pradesh’s Shahpur Assembly constituency is set to receive a boost with the introduction of three new electric buses, aimed at providing safer, cleaner and more accessible public transport in underserved areas.

    Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania recently flagged off the buses from the SDM office premises. The buses will operate from Dharamshala on rural routes connecting Tatwani, Bandi, Rehlu, Lanj, Harnera and Bhaled.

    The new services are expected to benefit residents travelling for education, healthcare, employment and other essential needs, particularly those living in areas with limited public transport.

    Pathania said the state government, under Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, was working to modernise the public transport system. He said 297 electric buses have been added to the HRTC fleet, marking a step towards cleaner and greener mobility in the state.

    Electric buses are also expected to reduce fuel consumption and vehicular emissions while offering passengers a more comfortable travel experience.

    The launch of the three buses is being seen as more than an expansion of public transport in rural Shahpur, with local residents hoping that similar services will be introduced on other underserved routes in the constituency.

    BJP MLA demands immediate government clarification, alleges critical healthcare services are being weakened instead of strengthened.

     Former IGMC Medical Superintendent and BJP MLA Dr. Janak Raj has raised serious concerns over the worsening condition of cardiac healthcare services at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Tanda, following reports that the department’s only functional cardiologist has been transferred.

    Dr. Janak Raj warned that the move could severely impact thousands of patients suffering from heart ailments across Kangra, Chamba, Hamirpur and other adjoining districts who depend on Tanda Medical College for specialized cardiac treatment.

    “The government claims to be bringing a change in the system, but how will critically ill heart patients receive treatment if even the lone working cardiologist is shifted out? Is weakening already understaffed departments the government’s idea of healthcare reform?” he questioned.

    The BJP leader said that the Cardiology Department has already been facing an acute shortage of specialists, and any further reduction in manpower could push essential cardiac services to the brink. Recent reports have highlighted severe staff shortages in the department, resulting in long waiting periods for critical diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography.

    Dr. Janak Raj demanded an immediate clarification from the Sukhu government and urged it to ensure adequate deployment of specialist doctors in the Cardiology Department without delay.

    “People of Himachal want answers. Is the government strengthening healthcare infrastructure or leaving patients at the mercy of fate? The health of thousands cannot be compromised due to administrative decisions,” he said.

    He further stressed that access to timely cardiac care is a matter of life and death and warned that any disruption in specialist services at a major referral institution like Tanda Medical College could have serious consequences for patients across the state.

    The issue has once again brought the state government’s healthcare management under scrutiny, with growing questions being raised over staff shortages and transfers in key medical institutions. Recent reports indicated that Tanda’s Cardiology Department was already operating with only a limited number of specialists while handling a heavy patient load.

    कांगड़ा : रेलवे लाइन मोहटली के समीप (M104/26-28) डाउन ट्रैक पर एक व्यक्ति की रेल की चपेट में आने से मौत हो गई है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर मामला दर्ज कर लिया है व आगामी कार्रवाई को अम्ल में लाया जा रहा हैं। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सिविल अस्पताल नूरपुर भेज दिया गया है।

    रेलवे चौकी प्रभारी विक्रमजीत ने बताया कि मृतक की पहचान प्रवीण कुमार (33) पुत्र कुंदन लाल निवासी सूरजपुर तहसील इंदौरा, जिला कांगड़ा के रूप में हुई है। मृतक वह दिहाड़ी-मजदूरी करता था। उसका अभी एक तीन साल का बेटा भी है।

    मिली जानकारी के अनुसार यह घटना बीते रविवार दोपहर के समय घटित हुई है। पुलिस चौकी कंदरोड़ी में मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जा रही है।

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur performed inaugurations and foundation stones of 19 developmental projects worth about Rs. 105 crore at Bhadoli Kutiyara in Jawalamukhi assembly constituency of Kangra district today.

    While addressing a largely attended public meeting at Jawalamukhi, Chief Minister announced opening of PWD Division at Jawalamukhi and Jal Shakti Vibhag Sub Division at Majheen. He assured that opening of a Nursing College through Temple Trust would be considered sympathetically.

    Chief Minister said that the world was adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only took timely decisions in the country to check spread of this pandemic, but also motivated the scientists to develop indigenous vaccines against this deadly virus. He said that a biggest vaccination campaign was successfully launched in the country under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has ensured that each and every area of the State gets due weightage in matter of development, with special focus on the areas which remained neglected due to one reason or other. He said that the present State Government was also committed for welfare of all sections of the society. He said that on the other hand the Congress was always busy in their own development and neglected the poor and the downtrodden. He said that not even a single scheme was initiated by the previous Government, which could be remembered for a long whereas on the other hand the present State Government has initiated several welfare schemes for the welfare of every section of the society, he added.

    Chief Minister said that schemes like Sahara Yojna, Shagun Yojna, Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna. Himcare etc. have been virtually proving boon to almost all sections of the society. He said that the State Government has given special emphasis on women empowerment and upliftment. He said that the State Government has decided to provide 50 per cent concession in fare to women in HTRC buses and free power upto 125 units per month to domestic electricity consumers. He said that the State Government has also decided that free water would be provided in rural areas of the State. He said that welfare schemes initiated by the present State Government were not going well with the Congress leaders. He said that the State Government also made a record enhancement in the honorarium of various para workers. He said that daily wage of daily workers has also been enhanced by Rs 50 per day during current financial year which was a record in itself.

    Chief Minister also presented a sapling to parents of a girl child under the ‘Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam’.

    MLA and Vice Chairman State Planning Board Jawalamukhi Ramesh Chand Dhawala, while welcoming the Chief Minister, detailed various developmental demands of the area. He said that people of the State were fortunate that the State was today being headed by a simple and an honest Chief Minister who was endeavouring hard to make Himachal Pradesh frontrunner State of the country in the matter of development. He also thanked the Chief Minister for providing fifty per cent concession in State Transport buses to the women of the State, besides providing free water in rural areas. He said that several welfare schemes initiated for welfare of the poor and downtrodden have proved a boon for improving their socio-economic conditions. He also cautioned the people against the false promises and tall claims being made by AAP leaders. He said that the Congress Party on the other hand was a divided house. He said that the BJP would again form the Government in the State under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He said that developmental works worth Rs. 250 crore were going on in his constituency.

    हिमाचल प्रदेश तकनीकी शिक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा बहुतकनीकी प्रवेश परीक्षा (पैट) 15 मई तथा लेटरल एंट्री एंटे्रस टेस्ट (लीट) का संचालन 22 मई को किया जाएगा। इसके लिए चार से 30 अप्रैल तक बोर्ड की बेवसाइट में ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रपत्र जमा करवाने का मौका प्रदान किया गया है। बहुतकनीकी प्रवेश परीक्षा के इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी बोर्ड की वेबसाइट पर जाकर उक्त प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

     

    बहुतकनीकी प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन फार्म चार से 30 अप्रैल तक भरे जाएंगे, जबकि लेटरल एंट्री एंट्रेस टेस्ट के लिए ऑनलाइन फार्म चार अप्रैल से दो मई तक भरे जाएंगे। हिमाचल प्रदेश तकनीकी शिक्षा बोर्ड धर्मशाला सचिव आरके शर्मा ने कहा कि अभ्यर्थी उक्त प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के लिए आवेदन शुल्क नेट बैंकिंग, डेबिट कार्ड/क्रेडिट कार्ड के माध्यम से कर सकते हैं। जनरल कैटेगिरी के लिए आवेदन शुल्क 650 रुपए तथा एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी कैटागिरी के लिए आवेदन शुल्क 400 रुपए है। इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी उक्त प्रवेश परीक्षाओं हेतु ऑनलाइन फार्म भरने के लिए स्कैनड फोटो तथा स्केनड साइन प्रयोग में होंगे। वहीं बोर्ड द्वारा अभ्यर्थियों की सुविधा के लिए राज्य के विभिन्न सरकारी बहुतकनीकी संस्थानों तथा औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों में सुविधा सेंटर बनाए गए हैं। अभ्यर्थी इन सुविधा सेंटर में जाकर ऑनलाइन फार्म भर सकते हैं। इन सेंटर का विवरण भी बोर्ड की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है।

    हिमाचल प्रदेश स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड ने वीरवार को 9वीं तथा 11वीं कक्षा के नियमित परीक्षार्थियों की फर्स्ट टर्म परीक्षाओं की प्रस्तावित डेटशीट जारी कर दी है। 9वीं कक्षा की परीक्षाएं 17 नवम्बर तथा जमा एक कक्षा की परीक्षाएं 16 नवम्बर को शुरू होंगी। ये परीक्षाएं सायंकालीन सत्र 1.45 से लेकर शाम 5 बजे तक होंगी। इन दिनांक सूचियों पर विद्यार्थी, अभिभावक व अध्यापक वर्ग सहित शिक्षाविदों से सुझाव भी मांगे हैं। प्रदेश स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड के सचिव डाॅ. सुरेश कुमार सोनी ने बताया कि संबंधित वर्ग अपने सुझाव शिक्षा बोर्ड की ई-मेल आईडी पर 10 दिनों के भीतर भेज सकते हैं। इन सुझावों के उपरांत ही डेटशीट को अंतिम रूप दिया जाएगा।

    नौवीं कक्षा के नियमित छात्रों की फर्स्ट टर्म की 17 नवम्बर को संस्कृत, उर्दू, पंजाबी, तमिल व तेलुगु विषय की परीक्षा होगा। 20 नवम्बर को गणित, 22 नवम्बर को कला-ए, स्वर संगीत, वाद्य संगीत, गृह विज्ञान, वाणिज्य, अर्थशास्त्र, कम्प्यूटर साइंस, ऑटोमोबाइल, सिक्योरिटी, रिटेल, आईटीईएस, एग्रीकल्चर, ट्रैवल एंड टूरिज्म, टैलीकॉम, फिजिकल एजुकेशन, बीएफएसआई, प्लम्बर, ब्यूटी एंड वैलनैस, इलैक्ट्रॉनिक्स, एपिरल्स, मीडिया एंड एंटरटेनमैंट व हैल्थकेयर विषयों की परीक्षाएं होंगी। 24 नवम्बर को सामाजिक विज्ञान, 26 नवम्बर को हिंदी, 27 नवम्बर को फाइनांशियल लिटरेसी, 29 नवम्बर को अंग्रेजी और 1 दिसम्बर को विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी तथा 2 दिसम्बर को कला-बी विषय की परीक्षा होगी।

    11वीं कक्षा की डेटशीट

    जमा एक कक्षा के नियमित छात्रों की 16 नवम्बर को हिस्ट्री, 17 नवम्बर को बिजनैस स्टडी व फिजिक्स, 18 नवम्बर को सोशलॉजी, 20 नवम्बर को अंग्रेजी, 22 नवम्बर को जियोग्राफी, डांस व फाइन आर्ट्स, 23 नवम्बर को अकाऊंटैंसी व कैमिस्ट्री, 24 नवम्बर को पॉलिटिकल साइंस, 25 नवम्बर को इकोनॉमिक्स, 26 नवम्बर को होम साइंस, 27 नवम्बर को गणित, 29 नवम्बर को हिंदी, 30 नवम्बर को फ्रैंच, संस्कृत व उर्दू तथा एक दिसम्बर को बायोलॉजी की परीक्षा होगी। इसके अलावा 2 दिसम्बर को कम्प्यूटर साइंस, फिजिकल एजुकेशन, योगा, आईटीईएस, आटोमोबाइल्स, सिक्योरिटी, रिटेल, हैल्थकेयर, एग्रीकल्चर, ट्रैवल एंड टूरिज्म, टैलीकॉम, फिजिकल एजुकेशन, बीएफएसआई, मीडिया एंड एंटरटेनमैंट, प्लम्बर, ब्यूटी एंड वैलनैस, इलैक्ट्रॉनिक्स और एपरिल्स विषय की परीक्षा होगी। इसके बाद 3 दिसम्बर को म्यूजिक, 4 दिसम्बर को पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन, 6 दिसम्बर को सोशलॉजी, 7 दिसम्बर को फिलोसॉफी तथा 8 दिसम्बर को फाइनांशियल लिटरेसी विषय की परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी।

    लम्बागांव पुलिस ने नाबालिगा के साथ दुष्कर्म के आरोप में दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार किया है। हालांकि दो युवक अभी भी पुलिस की गिरफ्त से बाहर हैं। गौरतलब है कि क्षेत्र की एक नाबालिग लड़की ने 4 लोगों के खिलाफ 18 सितम्बर को लंबागांव पुलिस थाने में दुष्कर्म की शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी।

    शिकायत में आरोप लगाया था कि वह दूसरे गांव में स्थित ताई के घर गई थी और वहां एक सप्ताह रही। एक दिन उसके ताया ने शराब पी रखी थी जबकि ताई दिहाड़ी-मजदूरी करने गई थी। उसकी ताई की बहू ने दो लोगों को घर बुलाया और उसके पास भेज दिया जिनमें से एक को वह जानती थी। वे युवक उसे कमरे में ले गए, जहां उन्होंने बारी-बारी दुष्कर्म किया। शिकायत में उसने दुष्कर्म का वीडियो बनाने का आरोप भी लगाया है।

    उसने बताया कि उसके अगले दिन वह ताई के घर से पालमपुर गई, जहां उसे एक काले नामक युवक का फोन आया कि तू कांगड़ा आ जा, नहीं आई तो तेरी वीडियो वायरल कर देंगे। जब वह कांगड़ा पहुंची तो वहां 2 युवक उसे ज्वालाजी के किसी होटल में ले गए, जहां उन्होंने उसके साथ दुष्कर्म किया। अगले दिन उसे नादौन छोड़ गए जहां से घर पहुंचकर परिजनों को आपबीती बताई।

    लम्बागांव पुलिस ने इस संबंध में धारा 376 एवं पोस्को एक्ट के तहत 4 आरोपियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया था। पुलिस ने आरोपियों की धड़पकड़ के लिए अलग-अलग टीमें बनाईं और रविवार देर शाम 2 युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। डीएसपी बैजनाथ बीडी भाटिया ने बताया कि इस मामले में 2 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है तथा अन्य दो को भी जल्द पकड़ लिया जाएगा। गिरफ्तार युवकों को सोमवार को न्यायालय में पेश किया जाएगा।

    नूरपुर थाना के अन्तर्गत सदवां पुलिस चौकी क्षेत्र में बीती देर रात चोरी के आरोप में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है। नूरपुर में अतिरिक्त थाना प्रभारी कल्याण सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा कि आरोपी का नाम गौरव कुमार निवासी डन्नी नूरपुर तहसील जिला कांगड़ा है। आरोपी के खिलाफ शिकायत सजीवन सिंह सेल्जमैन ठेका अंग्रेजी व देसी शराब सुलयाली नूरपुर जिला कांगडा ने दर्ज करवाई थी।

    शिकायत में कहा था कि ठेके से देसी व अंग्रेजी शराब की बोतलों की चोरी हो गई है। इस पर पुलिस ने 20 सितम्बर 2021 को चोरी के मामले को लेकर मामला दर्ज किया था। शिकायतकर्ता ने बताया कि चोरी होने के बाद जब ठेके पर अगले दिन आया तो ठेके ताले टूटे हुए थे। इसकी जानकारी मालिक को दी तथा पुलिस को सूचित किया गया। पुलिस ने मौके पर जाकर मामले की छानबीन करने के बाद एफ.आई.आर. दर्ज की। पुलिस ने बड़ी मशक्कत के साथ आरोपी को अपने नेटवर्क के माध्यम से बीती रात गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस पूछताछ में आरोपी से कुछ शराब की बोतलें बरामद की है। शनिवार को आरोपी को अदालत से चार दिन का पुलिस रिमांड मिला है।
