Three people were killed and another injured after an HRTC electric bus collided with a car on National Highway-205 near Shimla, officials said.The accident occurred when the HRTC electric bus was travelling from Baghipul towards Shimla and collided with the car. The impact was severe, leaving the car badly damaged.
Two women and a man travelling in the car were killed in the accident, while another person sustained injuries. Following the collision, local residents launched rescue efforts and shifted the victims to IGMC Shimla for treatment. Doctors declared three people dead on arrival, while the injured person is undergoing treatment.
All the victims are reportedly from Solan district. Further details about the accident are awaited.
