Una, February 11: The executive body elections of the Himachal Pradesh Clerical Association, District Una, were held on Wednesday at the Public Works Department (PWD) Rest House. Tara Singh, currently posted in the SC office of the department, was unanimously elected as President for the seventh consecutive term.
The newly elected executive committee includes Sohan Lal as Senior Vice President and Prem Chand as General Secretary. Vimla Devi, Gurnam, and Ram Dayal were elected as Vice Presidents, while Pirthi Chand was chosen as Joint Secretary.
Man Singh has been appointed as Finance Secretary, Jagdish Chand as Organizing Secretary, and Ashwani Kumar and Sushil Kumar as Press Secretaries. Amit Kumar and Mumehar Singh were elected as Organization Auditors. Ranbir Singh will serve as Legal Advisor, and Pushp Raj has been appointed as Chief Advisor. Surinder Kumar and Kamal have been selected as State Representatives.
Addressing the newly elected executive body, Tara Singh expressed gratitude for the continued trust placed in him and assured members that he would strive to live up to their expectations. He emphasized that the employees’ union is not merely an organization but a unified voice representing all employees, working to safeguard their interests and effectively address their concerns. He also expressed hope that all elected members would discharge their responsibilities with full dedication and integrity.
