The National Achievement Survey team of the Education Department reached Tangjyut Gonpa School located in Komik village of Spiti
The condition of education was found to be better in the Government Primary School Tangjyut Gonpa School of Komik, the world’s highest village. The National Achievement Survey team inspected the school. The team also conducted a live drill of the mock test, in which the studies of the children were found to be very good. At the same time, the team also discussed about the National Achievement Survey with the school management and asked to make the studies even better. At the same time, the team congratulated the school staff on the better level of studies in the world’s highest school.
The National Achievement (NAS) team inspected the schools of Lahaul-Spiti for four days. The team reached Tangjyut Gonpa, the Government Primary School of Komik, the world’s highest school, located at an altitude of 15000 feet in Kaza block of Lahaul-Spiti district, while conducting a live drill inspection of the mock test. The school is located in the year 1968.
The education of children is going on well here despite difficult geographical conditions. Apart from this, the team visited GSSS Sagnam, GCPS Sagnam, GSSS Guling, GPS Guling, GSSS Tabo, JNV Lari, GPS Lari, GPS Hurling. Central Range NAS Nodal Officer Dr. Sunil, Deputy Director Higher Education Kullu Amar Chauhan, Primary Deputy Director District Kullu Surendra Sharma, Spokesperson Kuldeep Sharma learned about the preparations for NAS 2024 in Lahaul-Spiti. Central Range NAS Nodal Officer Dr. Sunil said that the team inspected schools across Lahaul-Spiti district. On Friday, the team will inspect schools in Nirmand block. He said that the team monitored the second mock test at GSSS Tabo and GPS Tabo on Wednesday. Along with the meeting on NAS/Parakh programme with all the Principals, Headmasters, Central Headmasters of all the Blocks of Lahaul-Spiti, the live drill of NAS mock test was also inspected.
