According to the source, the toy train will run in the Saurabh Van Vihar, which has been built in the memory of martyr Captain Saurabh Kalia, born in this Veerbhoomi. It is a nature park. It is not only full of greenery but also tells the story of the martyr’s bravery. This park is spread in Quat village, located on the banks of Newgel Khad, about 4 km from Palampur.
This train, which runs on a track of about 825 meters, has been successfully trialed. It will be one of the longest toy trains in the hilly area. Built at a cost of about Rs 1.10 crore, this train will have a 10-horsepower engine and a seating arrangement for 36 people has been made in three bogies. The speed of the train will be 5 to 10 km per hour and the journey will be half an hour.
This toy train will become a special center of attraction for children. On this four-foot-wide track, two additional stations have also been built along with one main station, which will make the journey even more exciting.
