Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great pomp at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University , Nauni. On this occasion, a special lecture and cultural program was organized in the Dr. LS Negi Auditorium of the University.
Addressing the students and teachers on this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, remembered the country’s first Vice-President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, on whose birthday Teacher’s Day was celebrated in India. He highlighted the role of teachers in the overall development of students. Dr Chandel urged the university teachers to make efforts to develop rational thinking in the students.
Dr. Arun Bhardwaj, Founder of Happiness Technology Bangalore was the keynote speaker on this occasion. He addressed the students and teachers on the topic ‘ Transforming-Good to Great ‘. Dr. Bhardwaj told about how we can improve ourselves by positive thinking and small changes in life. University students’ art club ‘ Srijan ‘ organized a cultural program in the honor of teachers which included dance , song , play More poems were presented which were appreciated by everyone.
