Shimla
A case of molestation of a girl has come to light in the capital Shimla. It is alleged that a young man from UP did obscene acts with her on the way. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
According to information received from the police, a girl has lodged a complaint at Dhali police station in Shimla. In the complaint, the girl has told the police that she is originally from Chaupal area of Shimla district and works in a private cafe (restaurant) in Sanjauli, a suburb of Shimla. And lives in a rented room in Shimla. On the evening of October 24, when she was returning to her quarters after finishing her duty, a young man caught hold of her near the engine house of Sanjauli and did obscene acts with her. The victim told the police that the name of the molesting boy is Mohsin and he is a resident of UP.
On the other hand, on the complaint of the girl, the police have registered a case against the accused youth under various sections of the Indian Judicial Code including 74, 78, 79 and have started further investigation in the matter.
