Shimla Municipal Corporation is going to restart the Winter Carnival at Ridge Ground from January 2. The administration has now invited new artists into this. Bollywood playback singers have been included in the list of those who will entertain the audience at Ridge Ground. The Municipal Corporation administration has decided to organize the Winter Carnival till January 8. Under this, new artists have been invited. New Year’s celebration is to be held on January 2 at Ridge Ground. On this day, Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaj will perform on stage. Apart from this, comedian Rajiv will also add a tadka of laughter on the stage.
Let us tell you that due to the demise of former Prime Minister of the country Dr. Manmohan Singh, all the programs of Winter Carnival were postponed till January 1, so now the Municipal Corporation is going to organize the upcoming programs of Carnival at Ridge Ground from January 2. On January 3, Bollywood playback singer Alamgir Khan will make the audience dance to Hindi songs, while on January 5, Sujata Pathak; on January 7, Ritu Pathak; and on January 8, Arvind Singh Rajput will sing Bollywood songs. Apart from this, many other artists, including Pahadi artists Kuldeep Sharma, Neha Dixit, and Anuj Sharma, will also rock. The Municipal Corporation has rescheduled the programs.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhupendra Atri said that the Winter Carnival is being organized from January 2 to 8. Now some new artists have also been invited to the program. The Municipal Corporation is organizing a carnival on the Ridge for the entertainment of local people and tourists. Stalls have also been set up in it.
For the first time during the Winter Carnival, the Municipal Corporation will also select the Winter Queen. For this, many other competitions are to be organized along with a fashion show on the Ridge. At the same time, the Municipal Corporation will also select the best voice of Shimla under the Voice of Shimla program on the Ridge. Mayor Surendra Chauhan said that the carnival programs, which were postponed earlier, are now to be completed from 2 to 8 January. This time, for the first time, the corporation is also organizing a beauty contest. Winter Queen will also be selected in this.
