Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh said that Yoga is an integral part of Indian culture and the use of Yoga is beneficial for everyone. Anirudh Singh was addressing the gathering today after inaugurating the Vedic Resort Yoga Retreat at Maudi in village Panchayat Sanwara of Kasauli assembly constituency of Solan district.
Anirudh Singh said that yoga not only proves helpful in reducing mental stress of a person but is also a surefire treatment for many physical ailments. He said that in today’s fast-paced life, we all should take out some time and do yoga.
He said that the knowledge of Yoga has the power to make the entire world healthy. In ancient times, Gurukuls were an integral part of the Indian education system and the practice, study and use of Yoga was mandatory in Gurukuls. He said that yoga should be adopted even in the present times. Through yoga, not only one can get rid of various complex diseases but one can also remain mentally healthy.
The Panchayati Raj Minister expressed hope that the Vedic Resort Yoga Retreat will be helpful in keeping tourists and people of the state healthy by providing them yoga education along with outings.
District AYUSH Officer Solan Dr. Praveen Sharma provided concise information about Yoga, Ayurveda and healthy life routine on this occasion.
