Organizing a review meeting on Local Area Development Fund
In Shimla district, 10 per cent of the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) will be spent in the funds of Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana 2023 and Chief Minister Sukh Shiksha Yojana. This decision was taken in the review meeting of the Local Area Development Fund held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap at Bachat Bhawan on Saturday.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the local area development fund of Rs 98 crore 59 lakh 28 thousand 881 is yet to be deposited for various projects in the district, and instructions have been given to all the concerned projects to deposit the amount soon. Apart from this, it has been decided to give 10 percent share for Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana 2023 and Mukhyamantri Sukh Shiksha Yojana so that the beneficiaries can get maximum benefit.
He said that the matter will be placed before the government regarding the lease of those projects that are not working on the site even after completion of formalities. The Deputy Commissioner has also directed the project operators to complete the scheduled works in the affected panchayats as soon as possible.
Under Rampur sub-division, Rs 9 lakh 79 thousand 572 of Juri SHEP, Rs 05 lakh 26 thousand 354 of Jogni-2 SHEP, Rs 22 lakh 90 thousand of Kotagad SHEP, Rs 1 crore 48 lakh 62 thousand of Ganvi Stage-1 HEP, Rs 1 crore 57 lakh 23 thousand of Upper Nanti HEP, Rs 48 thousand 67 thousand of Ganvi Stage-2, Rs 1 crore 10 lakh 64 thousand of Rajpura HEP, Rs 10 lakh 24 thousand 455 of Jogni-01 HEP and Rs 28 crore 70 of Luhri Stage-1 HEP, Rs 39 crore of Sunni Dam HEP from Shimla rural sub-division, Rs 11 crore 40 lakh of Koldam HEP, Rs 32 lakh 50 thousand of Shimla. SHEP from Rohru sub-division An amount of Rs. 6 lakh of Gumma HEP Stage-3 and Rs. 13 crore of Sawda Kudu under Jubbal sub-division is outstanding.
Additional District Magistrate Jyoti Rana along with several Sub-Divisional Magistrates (Civil), Panchayat representatives, and project officials, were present in the meeting.
