The second round of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 for the Shimla and Kinnaur districts concluded on March 20, 2025, at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), which was designated as the Nodal Center for the region. Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India, this initiative aims to engage youth in the democratic process and facilitate discussions on significant national issues.

From these submissions, 150 candidates from Shimla and Kinnaur were shortlisted to participate in the district-level event at JUIT, which was inaugurated on March 18, 2025, in the presence of university officials, jury members, faculty, and motivated participants.
