Shimla, February 18, 2026:
In a major step towards strengthening school education, the Himachal Pradesh Government has granted CBSE affiliation to 15 additional Government Senior Secondary Schools across the state. The approval, issued by the Department of School Education, comes into effect immediately.
The decision follows the Chief Minister’s announcement to bring more government schools under the CBSE framework to ensure quality education and standardized curriculum.
