Shoolini University will host the 7th Flower Festival on the Shoolini campus from March 17th to March 19th.
Vice Chancellor Nauni University, Prof (Dr.) Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, will be the chief guest and will inaugurate the festival.
Mr. Suresh Sharma, Assistant Director Landscape and Chief Creativity Officer at Shoolini University, said, various varieties of flowering and ornamental plants will be exhibited in a variety of growing pots. He further added that one of the attractions of the flower festival will be the lucky draw, where the first fifty visitors can take part and win bunches of flowers and attractive gifts.
The launch of eco-friendly in-house created pots will also be introduced to the visitor, these pots have been made from waste materials, and people can learn to create them from waste materials they encounter every day. Also, people can buy selective plants and pots to decorate their homes and balconies at a nominal price and an attractive discount during the festival.
A helpdesk is also arranged for the people to know how we can grow and propagate plants in our homes. A variety of food stalls, fun games, and meditation and yoga sessions will also be available for the entertainment of different age groups of visitors.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean Students Welfare, stated that every year, the Shoolini University campus opens to welcome students and visitors from other colleges and areas to enjoy the riot of colors brought together from all over the world.
With its emphasis on nature and the environment, the festival not only showcases the beauty of flowers but also promotes the importance of sustainability and ecology—something that has always been a priority for Shoolini. From garden tours to interactive workshops, visitors will learn about the significance of nature while indulging in its beauty and colors. Mrs. Nanda added.
