An 80-year-old man has been accused of raping his minor granddaughter under Chidgaon tehsil. On the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case against the accused. The accused is still absconding. The police have started searching for the accused.
In the complaint given to the police by the family, it has been told that on December 15, the girl had gone to her grandfather’s house in a separate house in the village to cook food. The 15-year-old girl told her family that her grandfather raped her. He threatened that if she told anyone, he would kill her. The girl told her parents after about fifteen days. The family registered a complaint at the Chidgaon police station on January 2. The accused is still absconding. SP Shimla has confirmed this.
