Thereafter, light rain is likely at isolated places from September 18 to 21.
In the plains and lower hill areas, light to moderate rainfall is expected at many places on September 15 and 16. From September 17, rainfall activity is likely to decrease and remain confined to one or two places.
In the mid-hill areas, light to moderate rain is likely at some places from September 15 to 17, while isolated light rainfall may occur between September 18 and 21.
In the higher hill areas, isolated rainfall is expected on September 15, followed by light rain at some places on September 16 and 17. Isolated light rain may continue from September 18 to 20, while dry weather is likely on September 21.

The weather department has forecast thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at isolated places in the lower and mid-hill areas between September 15 and 20. Wind speeds may reach 30 to 40 kmph during this period.

According to the district-wise forecast, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla and Sirmaur may receive light to moderate rainfall at several or some places from September 15 to 17.
In Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Solan, rain is likely at several or some places on September 15, after which rainfall may remain confined to isolated locations.
In Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti, light rain is likely at some or isolated places on most days during the forecast period.
