Baddi: The Department of Physiotherapy at IEC University, Atal Shiksha Kunj, organised a special programme to mark World Physiotherapy Day, with students and faculty members highlighting the importance of physiotherapy and physical well-being.
IEC University vice-chancellor Dr Ashok Puri, registrar Dr Pralhad Gupta and senior management members appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to strive for excellence in the field of physiotherapy.
Dr Kushal Kumar Tiwari was the chief guest at the event.
During the programme, students pledged to spread awareness about physical health and the importance of physiotherapy in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. They also participated in discussions on the role of physiotherapy in preventing and managing physical health conditions.
The event featured a range of cultural performances, including Bollywood dance, Nati and Bhangra. Students also presented speeches, poems and a skit highlighting various aspects of physiotherapy and its role in promoting physical fitness and overall well-being.
The programme provided students an opportunity to showcase their talent while creating greater awareness about the significance of physiotherapy in everyday life.
