Hamirpur, April 30. Abhishek Kumar Garg, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2020 batch of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, took charge as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) in Hamirpur district on Wednesday. After assuming charge, he was warmly welcomed by the officers and employees in the office premises.
Abhishek Kumar Garg has earlier served as Bilaspur Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM). Abhishek Kumar Garg hails from Bokaro, Jharkhand. While taking charge, Abhishek Kumar Garg said that every effort will be made to implement the welfare schemes and development projects of the state government and the central government at a fast pace in Hamirpur district. He said that effective monitoring of the schemes will be done by establishing coordination with various departments of the government and it will be ensured that the direct benefits of the schemes reach the public. Along with this, special emphasis will be laid on the overall development of rural areas through the Rural Development Agency.
ADC Abhishek Kumar Garg said that the district administration will work with transparency, efficiency, and sensitivity. All officers and employees will work with team spirit, and special emphasis will be laid on quick resolution of public problems.
