A Spokesperson of the Agriculture Department today informed that the Agri-Machinery Portal will reopen on 22th September, 2026 at 12 noon for the financial year 2026-27. Farmers can apply for agricultural machinery and equipment under the sub-mission on agricultural mechanization (SMAM) through the DBT portal, agrimachinery.nic.in, up to 30th September, 2026.
The Spokesperson said that beneficiaries would be selected through an online lottery on 1st October, 2026. Small and marginal farmers, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe farmers and women farmers would be eligible for a 50 percent subsidy on agricultural machinery and equipment.
The spokesperson urged farmers to purchase only approved machinery models from firms registered with the Government of India to avoid any inconvenience.
