Shimla:
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha staged a protest against the Indian National Congress and its youth wing at the CTO in Shimla on Friday, alleging that the party’s actions during the Global AI Impact Summit in Delhi had tarnished India’s global image.
Addressing the gathering, Yuva Morcha State General Secretary Sushil Karsholi termed the protest by Congress workers at the summit venue a “deliberate conspiracy” to defame the country internationally. He alleged that the incident reflected anarchic politics and said there was widespread public anger across the country over the episode.
Karsholi further claimed that the demonstration was pre-planned and allegedly carried out at the behest of Rahul Gandhi. He stated that the protest was not against any particular government or leader, but against India’s achievements and growing global stature. He also alleged that certain Youth Congress functionaries were detained in connection with the incident, highlighting the seriousness of the matter.
The Yuva Morcha leader said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India is advancing in innovation, technology, and global leadership, while Congress is indulging in disruptive politics. He accused the party of repeatedly questioning national achievements and hurting the sentiments of citizens.
Several BJP leaders and Yuva Morcha office bearers were present during the protest. Karsholi concluded by stating that the BJP Yuva Morcha would continue to raise its voice democratically against what he described as anti-national tendencies.
