Kullu, October 25: Ayush, Youth Services and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma on Sunday offered prayers at the temporary camp of Lord Raghunath in Dhalpur during the International Kullu Dussehra festival and sought blessings.
Goma expressed his reverence for the rich Dev Sanskriti (deity traditions), religious faith and centuries-old customs of Devbhoomi Kullu.
He said the International Kullu Dussehra festival represents the distinctive cultural identity of Himachal Pradesh. The gathering of deities during the festival brings the region’s ancient traditions and religious beliefs to life. Devotees and tourists from across India and abroad witness a unique blend of spiritual devotion, folk culture and traditional rituals.
The minister said Kullu Dussehra is not merely a religious event but also a symbol of the state’s rich cultural heritage, social harmony and collective faith. The festival plays an important role in preserving and promoting deity traditions passed down through generations.
