Weekly Faculty Development Program started at Bahra University. The theme of the program is based on the changing dimensions of the world of education in the modern environment. The program was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Satvir Singh Sehgal, Director General Bahra University Professor RM Bhagat, Registrar Vineet Kumar, Dean Academics Professor Avdesh Kumar Gupta, Director Research Professor Sandeep Singh by lighting the lamp.
While inaugurating the Faculty Development Program, Professor RM Bhagat said that if we study our literature, then we get information about our festivals, lifestyle, food habits, environmental protection, man being sensitive towards man, etc. along with knowledge.
Registrar Vineet Kumar said in the Faculty Development Program that every element is present in our country intellectually and spiritually. That philosophy, thinking, contemplation, literature, knowledge, today the exploration and discussion of all the elements is available in itself.
Professor Avdesh Kumar Gupta said that literature tells us how we can understand the importance of nature while talking about water, forest and land. He said that we should understand the importance of our language, no matter which language it is. We should know and understand the importance of language, only then we can develop in the true sense. He said that we have no problem with English but there can be no alternative to language. He gave detailed information about the upcoming Faculty Development Program, which will run for the next one week, about who all will be the resource persons.
Director Research Professor Sandeep Singh informed about the work being done by the university in the field of higher education and said that we are not behind anyone in higher education. He said that whatever ideas you will acquire from here in the next one week, communicate them to the students, only then real education will mean imparting knowledge to them. Chancellor of Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra sent best wishes for organizing the Faculty Development Program.
