After several arrests, now a youth has been arrested in Himachal Pradesh for spying for Pakistan. The youth has been identified as Abhishek (20) from the Sukhahar area of the Dehra subdivision of Kangra district, who is a college dropout. The police have taken this action on the basis of secret information, after which the police raided the house of the youth at around 4 am.Serious facts and a matter of national security:Dehra SP Mayank Chaudhary confirmed this arrest and said that Abhishek’s activities had been closely monitored by intelligence agencies for the last few weeks.
He is suspected of passing on sensitive information to Pakistan through social media and other means. Under these allegations, a case has been registered against the accused under Section 152 of the Indian Penal Code, and this case appears to be directly related to national security.
Digital evidence and forensic investigation:During the investigation, the police have recovered a mobile phone from Abhishek’s possession, in which much objectionable and suspicious information has been found. This mobile was sent for forensic investigation, from which some important digital evidence has been obtained. SP Mayank Chaudhary said that this digital evidence will be presented in Dehra court today.
Assistance of intelligence agencies and police remand:Given the sensitivity of the case, the assistance of state and central intelligence agencies is being taken in it. The arrested youth will be produced in Dehra court today, where it is likely that he will be sent on police remand so that further interrogation can be done and other important revelations related to the case can be made.Panic in the area and appeal to the public:After this arrest, there is panic in the entire area. Local people are surprised that someone among them can be involved in anti-national activities.
The police have appealed to the public to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity so that such anti-national conspiracies can be stopped.Suspected of sharing sensitive information:A senior police officer said on the condition of anonymity that preliminary investigation has indicated that the accused may have shared information related to Indian military or administrative activities in the form of photos, videos, or text. However, this can be confirmed only after forensic investigation and further investigation.Police’s tough stand and no place for anti-national elements:SP Mayank Chaudhary has categorically said that any kind of compromise with the security of the state will not be tolerated.
He also added that a peaceful state like Himachal will not be allowed to become a place for such anti-national elements, and the police are taking action with full strictness. It is worth noting that even before this, about 8 people have been arrested from Haryana and Punjab on charges of spying for Pakistan, which shows the increasing threat of such activities.
