Senior BJP leader Anurag Thakur has appealed to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and the Congress-led state government to come to Delhi for discussions aimed at reducing the financial burden on the state.
Thakur stated that Members of Parliament are ready to accompany the Chief Minister for a meeting with the Union Finance Ministry to seek a reduction in the high interest rates on loans taken by the state government. He emphasized that lowering the interest rates would significantly ease Himachal Pradesh’s growing debt pressure.
“We all love Himachal. Instead of engaging in blame-game politics, the state government should focus on bringing reforms. We are ready to cooperate fully for the welfare of Himachal Pradesh,” Thakur said.
He further underlined that constructive dialogue and coordinated efforts between the state and the Centre would help in addressing the financial challenges and ensure long-term stability for the state’s economy.
