Him Cine Society Himachal Pradesh unveiled the official poster for long awaited fifth edition of the Chitra Bharti national short film festival (CBNFF-24) here today in the Press Club Shimla during a Press Conference.
vice president of the society Bharti kuthiala said that festival is scheduled to be in Panchkula Haryana from 23rd to 25th February 2024
she said that biannualy Chitra Bharati National Film Festival aims to inculcate creation and screening the films that celebrates India’s knowledge, value, art and culture, heritage, civilization ,history, dilects, and language.
she said that Chitra Bharati film festival plorifie budding film makers to show their talent .
General Secretary of the Him Cine society Ek Soch Sanjay Sood urged the aspirant filmmakers to participate in the film festival he said that Chitra Bharti film festival is a platform for the new commer film makers as well as professional film makers to thrive in the industry.
He informed that film submission for the festival will be accepted from 1st September 2023 to 30th November 2023.
films are of 4 categories documentary,short films, children , and campus films .
He said that various aspects of our society are the theme for the festival such as
Women Empowerment ,Employment Generation, , Environment, Future Bharat,Social harmony, Janjatiy Samaj,Rural Development and Vasudev Kutumbakam .
The children’s film category will be exercised on theme Courageous Children , Innovation In Child Education, and Moral Education.
he said that winners in all categories will be awarded total cash of worth rupees 10 lakh.
