Kangra-Chamba Culture Festival-2025: A Confluence of Himachali Heritage and Youth Energy
Dharamshala/Chamba, October 2025:
With the aim of preserving Himachal Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage and passing it on to the new generation, the “Kangra-Chamba Culture Festival-2025” presented by Event Guru Pvt. Ltd. was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
Rajiv Rana, State Chairman of the Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress (K.K.C.) Himachal Pradesh and Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, attended the event as a special guest.
Folk artists, cultural groups, and young talents from various regions of the state presented captivating performances of traditional dances, songs, and folk costumes, filling the atmosphere with Himachali colors.
In his address, Mr. Rajiv Rana said, “Himachal’s culture is not just a tradition; it symbolizes our soul and identity. Politics is meaningful only when the consciousness of culture is alive within it. Culture is what gives birth to unity, balance, and direction in society.”
He said that such festivals not only promote folk arts but also provide new inspiration to the state’s social and political thinking. Thanking the organizers, Mr. Rana said, “Himachal’s true identity resides in the folk traditions of Kangra and Chamba, and their preservation is the foundation of strong politics in the future.”
Several dignitaries, social workers, and artists, including Pandit Vishal Sharma, founder of Event Guru, were present at the event. Artists who excelled in the closing session were honored.
