Deputy Commissioner ordered to re-notify the constituencies of Panchayat Samitis affected by the formation of Panchayat Samiti Dadahu

Nahan, July 24 – Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma has issued orders for re-delimitation of the constituencies of the affected Panchayat Samiti Nahan, Paonta Sahib and Sangrah and wards no. 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 of the Zila Parishad after the formation of the new Panchayat Samiti Dadahu.
It was stated in the orders that for the formation of the new Panchayat Samiti Dadahu, 11 gram panchayats of development block Nahan, 7 of Paonta Sahib and 7 of Sangdah have been included.
The Deputy Commissioner has authorized the Sub Divisional Magistrates of Nahan, Paonta Sahib and Sangarah to re-delimit the constituencies (wards) of the Panchayat Samitis falling under their respective jurisdictions as per the prescribed parameters and has ordered to settle the objections by August 5, 2025.
Apart from this, the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nahan has also been ordered to complete the delimitation of the constituencies of Panchayat Samiti Nahan as well as Panchayat Samiti Dadahu within the prescribed period.
