Dharamshala, February 26
Dharamshala Postal Circle has hoisted its flag in Himachal Pradesh Circle by performing excellently in the All India Thalaiva League campaign run by Indian Postal Department IPPB Bank from November 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 for installing and activating merchant QR cards. Under this competition, Dharamshala Postal Circle alone has won 2 LED TVs out of the total 03 main prizes announced by Himachal Pradesh Postal Circle.
Superintendent, Dharamshala Division, Ravindra Kumar Sharma, stated that during the competition, Dharamshala Division employees worked tirelessly to install merchant QR cards with a record number of merchants. Dharamshala Division was the best in the entire division, not only in installing the cards, but also in activating them.
On this occasion, a prize distribution programme was organised at the Divisional Office, Dharamshala today in which Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Superintendent, Post Office, Dharamshala Division presented the award to Vijay Kumar, Marketing Executive, Divisional Office, Dharamshala.
Expressing delight at this success, Ravindra Kumar Sharma, Superintendent of Post Offices, said, “This victory is the result of the hard work and dedication of our field staff and postal workers. Our goal is to take the Digital India campaign to the rural level. By connecting merchants to digital payments, we have not only won the competition but also contributed to modernizing the local economy. This achievement has not only enhanced the prestige of the Dharamshala Postal Division but has also infused new energy into the department. The department is committed to providing similar digital services to the public in the future.”
On this occasion, Abhishek Manager IPPB Bank Dharamshala Branch, Gagan Assistant Superintendent Tourism and Ashwani Pathania Inspector Post Office were also present.
