Sukhu assures ₹1 crore for church renovation
Shimla: A delegation of the Thomas Bishop Shimla–Chandigarh Diocese on Thursday presented a cheque of ₹10 lakh to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The delegation was led by Shimla MLA Harish Janartha.
Dr Sahay Thathues of the diocese was also present on the occasion.
On the request of the delegation, the chief minister assured financial assistance of ₹1 crore for the renovation of St Michael’s Church in Shimla.
