Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar Agrawal Calls It a Milestone Literary Contribution
Prof. Dinesh Kumar Aggarwal, Vice-Chancellor of India’s first skill university established by the Government of Haryana, in a special event, formally launched the second English poetry collection “Wings of Words” by renowned educationist and author Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mangla.
On this occasion, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor praised Dr. Mangla’s literary talent and remarked that the younger generation should draw inspiration from him in the field of writing. He described Dr. Mangla as an inspiring literary figure and highlighted his deep association with the university.
Terming the poetry collection, a significant literary achievement, the Vice-Chancellor stated that in today’s fast-paced world, when people are finding less time for reading and writing, such a work will motivate the youth towards creative expression. Encouraging further, he added that in the future, Dr. Mangla’s name will be etched in history as the composer of the university anthem.
The programme commenced with Dr. Mangla felicitating the Vice-Chancellor with a ceremonial coconut and a bouquet. In his address, Dr. Mangla expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the encouragement and blessings extended by Prof. Agrawal. He stated that “Wings of Words” is an earnest attempt to give expression to human emotions, sensitivities, and social concerns through poetry.
Sharing a personal reflection, he also mentioned that nearly a decade ago, after seeing the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Aggarwal being honoured by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, he had developed a desire to meet him—an aspiration that has now been fulfilled.
On this occasion, University PRO, Dr. Rajesh Chauhan Ji, Managing Director of Mangla Tube Private Limited, Tushar Mangla; Provincial Minister of Sahakar Bharati, Mohit Pathak; young engineer Yogesh Mangla; and several other distinguished guests were present.
