Management Day Celebrated at Himachal Pradesh Technical University

The Department of Management at Himachal Pradesh Technical University organized a special programme to mark National Management Day, with enthusiastic participation from MBA and other department students.
The event focused on best management practices, innovation, leadership skills, and real-world entrepreneurial experiences. Three entrepreneurs shared insights from their professional journeys, inspiring students with practical knowledge and personal experiences.
In the first session, E. Sumit, founder of Vashisht Entrepreneurs and Vashisht Complex located at The Mall, Hamirpur, interacted with students and shared his business experiences. He highlighted his three visits to the United States, which helped him gain global exposure and a deeper understanding of international business practices.
During the second session, Shubham Jamwal, founder of Pahadi Jaika, spoke about his entrepreneurial journey and the challenges he overcame while establishing his venture.
In the concluding session, Ashok Dhamija, Managing Director of Suraj Sweets & Restaurant, Hamirpur, emphasized that entrepreneurship is not defined merely by degrees but by vision, determination, and the courage to take initiative. He encouraged students to remain dedicated and hardworking, stating that success is always achievable through perseverance.
Faculty members including Dr. Manish Khanna, Dr. Shubham, and Shivani Sharma were also present on the occasion.
